Me Lose Weight
Three years ago when I was overweight I went to my doctor and said”
help me lose weight”.
From the advice he gave me I was able to lose more than 40 pounds
in weight in little more than a year. The advice that he gave me
was a massive help in help lower my cholesterol ratio, help lower
my ldl cholesterol and make me feel better and look better. It was
also a help to reduce my risk of a heart attack.
The advice he gave me was simple and nothing that I didn’t know
already. Basically his advice was to eat less and exercise more.
These are the two key elements in losing weight and keeping it off.
To lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume each
day. This can be done by either reducing the amount of calories
consumed or by increasing the amount of calories that are burnt
by the body or as my doctor said by doing both together.
In my life I have been on hundreds of diets and none of them really
worked. Sure Id diet for a few months and lose some weight even
a lot of weight but as soon as the diet finished I would start regaining
weight and soon be back to where I started or even heavier. My doctor
explained to me that I would need to make permanent changes to my
diet, my lifestyle and the amount of exercise that I did if I wanted
to lose weight permanently.
Losing weight has helped to give me more energy, improve my levels
of self confidence and self esteem and improve my health and overall
wellbeing. Making my weight loss permanent was the best thing that
I have ever done and you can do it too.
